Lancaster Gate
Located to the north of the Kensington Gardens, Lancaster Gate dates back to the mid nineteenth century. The whole area compromises of two long terraces of houses that overlook the park while the gap between these two terraces open the way to a church.

These terraces feature English Baroque details and French touches made out of Stucco. The church made with the involvement of the architects F. & H. Francis, is a combination of asymmetrical gothic composition that included a needle spire. The church tower and the spire still survive while rest of the buildings has been replaced by the housing scheme named as the Spire House.
