Paddington Station
Located in Paddington in central London, Paddington Station is a main national underground and rail station complex. It is one of the significant places in Central London while others include St Mary's Hospital and the Paddington Green Police Station. Paddington station connects commuters to places in the west of London like Swindon, Maidenhead and Reading while the main-line service connects to Oxford, Bristol, South Wales Cardiff and Swansea.

Design of the Paddington station was done by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and Matthew Digby Wyatt. To commemorate Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a statue is built on the station concourse. The train shed includes an iron girded roof with three bays while the bent iron ribs are decorated by iron columns every third rib.
Today the station boasts of 14 terminal platforms, where the western platforms are used by the long distance trains while the eastern platforms are used by the local trains. Two train services from Paddington serve Heathrow Airport. The Heathrow express is the non stop train service while Heathrow connect is the service that stops in important stations.
