St Patrick's Day

Come for a short stay in London Paddington this March as the bustling capital has so much to offer. St Patricks Day offers countless events around the town. And Head of the River takes place on 29th March.

St Patrick’s Day is celebrated as a religious and a National Holiday around Ireland and the UK, as a day to commemorate the arrival of Christianity in Ireland, and also as a general celebration of Irish culture. Around the capital, clubs, bars and pubs embrace the spirit of the festival, throwing up shamrocks and other decorations and offering special offers and deals.

29th March 2014 see’s the return of the annual Head of the River Race, where 400 crews from around the world take to the famous Thames for a historic boating race. The race was initially started in 1926 by Oarsman Steve Fairbairn.

No matter what you do this March, why not come for a short stay in one of the top rate budget hotels in London Lancaster Gate. Elysee Hotel is offering 10% off any stay between March 1st and March 14th.
